About Independent Grain Handlers

Independent Grain Handlers (IGH) is a logistics, storage & handling, container-packing business, which specialises in managing grain and other bulk commodities. IGH has operated in Western Australia since 2006 and has a strong focus on grain stored on farm or in bulk storage facilities, supplying both the domestic and export markets with grains through their affiliate company IGH Commodities (IGHC).

IGH prides itself on being a reliable partner in managing, storing and moving bulk commodities and providing competitive solutions for its customers.

Since starting as a grain packing business in Forrestfield, IGH has expanded its operations significantly and now operate 2 sites. One in Spearwood Perth WA, which is our specialist grain receival, storage and packing facility, and a second bulk receival and storage facility in Kwinana. We also have a fleet of trucks enabling IGH to transport grain, containers and equipment efficiently.

At IGH we have the expertise and facilities to provide ongoing bulk logistics and storage needs for a range of commodities and goods.

IGH sites are:

• AQIS approved for imports and exports,
• AQIS approved quarantine facilities at Kwinana.
• Full testing facilities on site for sampling and testing grain to Grain Trade Australia (GTA) standards
• Licensed Fumigator, and facilities. Approved by the Western Australian Public Health Department,
• Equipped with certified Weighbridges

IGH has bought all types of grain, oilseeds and pulses direct grain from growers in Western Australia and with the growth of the business now buys and sells grains through IGH Commodities

IGH with IGHC continues to grow its capabilities in supplying grain in containers direct to the export market and buyers overseas as IGH Commodities. As we expand our operations and services to growers, we remain focused on servicing growers who choose to store their grain on farm, and or deliver their grain directly to the Perth Metro Area during or post harvest.

IGH and IGHC have an excellent reputation with the businesses and people we deal with both locally and internationally. At IGH/IGHC we offer and manage a range of grain supply options to our domestic and international customers.

At IGH we are committed to providing realistic and competitive logistical, storage and handling solutions for grain and other bulk commodities and equipment.

IGH sites are:

• Transports, manage and stores bulk commodities such as:
  • Fertiliser
    • Including conditioning and screening
  • Protein meals
  • Coal
  • Machinery and large equipment
• Packing/Containerisation of grain and other commodities/good
• Product receival & unloading of containers
• One off and or ongoing bulk logistics and storage needs for a range of commodities and equipment.
• Through IGH Commodities (IGHC), provide grain prices for:
  • Grain stored on farm
  • Grain Delivered Perth or up county locations.
  • Grain delivered in store CBH
• Provide grain freight on your behalf
• Transportation of fertiliser locally or up country (to farm or to depots)
